I guess one of the local casinos was concerned we’d miss their ad, so they provided the sea of yellow signs to the left of the highway.

The Big Easy

We took some time here to stop at the French Quarter to do touristy things like-walk down Bourbon St, and get our fill of Cajun, Creole and bignets from the French market.

We didn’t stay all that long, because temperature was an even 100 degrees and the humidity was HIGH.

Wow, can you tell these trees are up to their tips in water? Too bad they can’t just ship to the drought areas of the country.
