Not all of Texas is flat and sparsely vegitated. Some, I hear, is mountainous. But we are headed deep into the humid south Texas. There are the beginnings of lush green trees and rolling hills. We’re a little past the halfway point between Dallas and Houston.

We’re leaving AMARILLO and headed south to Waxahachie, TX it eas 81 degrees an it gone up to 84 in the last 10 minutes. It’s. 10;45 in the morning.

This is a golden corral, and it’s currently running in first place for the worst food of the trip. I’ve eaten at this chain in another city and its fine.

We ate at an awesome place in new Mexico called the Old Blinking Light. It’s off the beaten path. But worth it.

The only place in the US where 4 states meet is actually on an Indian reservation. We all went and stood simultaneously in 4 states. It’s a great place for your Navajo tacos, but most were disenchanted by the stalls of mass produced items for sale in thrown together stalls. (read tourist trap)
